Guosheng Tang is a Professor and Doctoral Studies Supervisor at Guangzhou Medical University. Guosheng Tang obtained his Doctoral degree as a joint doctoral student of "Nanjing Forestry University" and "Harvard Medical School" (HMS). He joined the Department of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Division of Engineering in Medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, as a postdoctoral research fellow, under the supervision of Professor Yu Shrike Zhang. He was awarded the "Jiangsu Provincial Government Study Abroad Scholarship". In 2021, he joined the School of Pharmacy, Guangzhou Medical University as a "Nanshan Scholar Distinguished Professor" of Guangdong Province's in a high-level university construction project. His research team primarily focus on using 3D bioprinting, Gas-shearing, and advanced technologies to prepare microgels for cell delivery and regenerative medicine. He is currently a member of the "Vascular Branch of the Chinese Anatomy Society", a member of the"3D Bioprinting and Tissue Regeneration Branch of the Guangdong Biomedical Engineering Society", and a standing member of the "Youth Committee of the 3D Bioprinting and Tissue Regeneration Branch of the Guangdong Biomedical Engineering Society". He is a senior member of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, and a young editorial board member of "Exploration" and "Biomedical Technology" journals. To date, Dr. Tang has published over 47 papers as the first or corresponding author in internationally prestigious journals such as PNAS, Nature Microbiology, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Nano-Micro Letters, Advanced Science, etc. His research papers have crossed >3,300 citations, with a cumulative impact factor of more than 600, an average impact factor of more than 15, and 5 articles have been selected into the top 1% ESI highly cited papers in the world. He has credited more than 10 invention patents.
