Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Applicants who are interested should send the CV and names of three references to Prof. Tang guoshengtang@gzhmu.edu.cn with a title line containing the exact phrase "postdoctoral fellow". Candidates with backgrounds in materials science, bioprinting, microfluidics, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics, and immune engineering are preferred. Chapter 1    Postdoctoral recruitment

Applicants for admission to postdoctoral positions should meet the following requirements: (1). Obtained a doctorate, excellent moral and academic performance, good health, generally should be 35 years of age and below, and not more than 3 years after obtaining a Ph.D. degree. (2). On-the-job personnel is required to engage in postdoctoral research full-time. (3). If you have passed the defense of the dissertation and the examination, and approval of the academic degree committee of your unit, but have not yet obtained the doctoral certificate, you may apply for entering the position, but you are required to submit the doctoral certificate to the school's doctoral administration office within half a year.

Chapter 2    Salary and treatment

(1). The salary is based on the annual salary system before tax (Pre-tax salary = after-tax salary + personal income tax + social insurance and house fund's personal payment). The university pays social insurance and house fund for postdocs. (Social insurance includes old-age insurance, medical insurance, industrial injury insurance, maternity insurance, and unemployment insurance.) (2). The annual salary of the postdoc. is 300,000 RMB (42,150 dollars), and the scientific research fund is 200,000 RMB (28,100 dollars, for research only). The cooperative tutor and the unit may decide whether to add a scholarship according to the actual performance. (3). During the post-doctoral period, the funding for talent projects or scientific research awards at all levels shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant requirements and standards. (4). Those who go abroad without approval and fail to return within the time limit during the period of the station shall stop issuing all expenses and take back all kinds of certificates and equipment issued by the school and workstation for halfway exit.

Chapter 3    Manage during the station

(1). The postdoctoral station requires that the personnel files and registered permanent residence be transferred to the unit where the postdoctoral work is located. (2). Postdoctoral working time in the station is generally 2 years. If it is really necessary to postpone leaving the station, the application shall be submitted in accordance with the regulations and can be extended for another year after approval.

Visiting Students

Applicants who are interested should send the CV and names of three references to Prof. Tang guoshengtang@gzhmu.edu.cn with a title line containing the exact phrase "visiting student". Only applicants who aim to study for more than 6 months for MS-/undergraduate-level students and 1.5-2 years for PhD-level students will be considered. Candidates with background in chemistry, materials science, bioprinting, microfluidics, mechanical engineering, electronics, and drug delivery are preferred.
