Farzana Nazir obtained a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry at the National University of Sciences and Technology, Islam-abad. She has also worked as a visiting Graduate Researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Farzana was working on topics related to Hybrid Biopolymer and its Nanocomposites for Tissue Engineering applications. Her major areas of research are bone tissue engineering, wound healing, regenerative medicine, and cancer therapies. Shearing thinning Hydrogels prepared by nano bio-fabrication technologies for fluorescent imaging and cancer therapeutics. She has publish- ed a series of peer-reviewed publications in different high-impact journals, including the International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Advanced NanoBiomed Research, Reactive and Functional Po-lymers, Cellulose etc. (H index=7, with total citations>200). She joined Tang Lab in April 2024 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Guangzhou Medical University. She will work on biofabrication, 3D bioprinting, and Cell delivery.
