Faiqah Tayyab is an undergraduate student majoring in Clinical Medicine at Guangzhou Medical University. She joined the Tang Lab in January 2026 and is currently involved in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of microbiology, biomaterials, and 3D bioprinting. Through her work in the lab, she has gained hands-on experience and exposure to research involving gut microbiota, intestinal pathogenic bacteria, and microgel-based biomaterials for biomedical applications. She is interested in exploring how innovative biomaterial-based approaches can be applied to biomedical challenges and hopes to further develop her experimental skills while gaining experience across diverse areas of biomedical research at Tang Lab.
